To use your lift chair correctly, follow these steps: Ensure it’s in the standing position, then back into the center of the seat before pressing the DOWN button on your hand remote to lower it to a comfortable seated position. When you’re ready to stand, press and hold the UP button on the remote until the chair reaches a suitable height for comfortable standing. For reclining, press and hold the DOWN button from a seated position until you’re comfortably reclined, and to return to an upright seated position, press and hold the UP button, releasing it when the chair reaches a comfortable seating angle.

If you can’t find your mobility scooter key, there are a few steps you can take. Firstly, contact us if you brought your mobility scooter direct from our Store. Scooter keys are the same for the vast majority of models and we may be able to replace your key. Alternatively you can move the scooter without a key, put it in freewheel mode, you can find the lever under the seat. The scooter can be manually pushed in neutral gear.

If you are disabled or have a long-term illness, you will not be charged VAT on products designed or adapted for your own personal or domestic use. All that we require for you to qualify for this is to state your illness or disability prior to your purchase. Please note, injuries such as broken bones do not qualify for this exemption as these will heal over time and not considered long-term illness.

To protect your power chair from potential damage caused by water, avoid damp areas. If your power chair encounters water, dry it thoroughly with a towel as soon as possible. Then, place it in a warm, dry location for 12 hours to allow any hidden moisture to evaporate. Prior to using your electric wheelchair again, check the operation of the joystick and brakes. The frequency of battery charging depends on your usage of the mobility scooter or power chair. If you use it daily, it’s best to charge the batteries immediately after each use, aiming for a charging duration of eight to 14 hours. For less frequent use, a maintenance charge of eight to 14 hours twice a week is recommended. Avoid charging for more than 14 hours, and consult your battery charger’s owner’s manual for further guidance.
